Thanksgiving is a very fun time for a lot of people here in America. It is the time that we have to remember all the good things and blessings that we have. God has given us everything. He has even given us America. Thanks to His plan, we have this wonderful opportunity to enjoy religious freedom and a lot of other rights by being here in America. Of course, we must continually fight and stand up for what we believe in otherwise we might lose it.
This week of thanksgiving will be fun for me as I plan to meet up with a couple of friends that I had met from my mission. One was my companion and he is from the Toronto, Canada area and we will be hanging out with his girlfriend, whom he met on his mission. She is American and we just met with her for a couple months about a year ago.
After I hang with them for a day, I'll have some fun times with some of my extended family as we come together, probably at my grandma's house, to eat, drink, and be merry. Non-alcoholic of course.
Then, on Saturday, my family and I, along with a friend or two, will have a Star Wars marathon where we will start early Saturday morning by watching the first one and going all day, watching all six of them in preparation for the new movie that will be coming out.
